Lima British HO Coaches

Carrozze Britanniche Lima HO

There were six British coaches produced in various liveries, 3 Mark Ones, and 3 Mark Twos. In addition there were also re-liveries of Continental prototypes.

BR Mark One - Composite Corridor
BR Mark 1 (Versione Uno ndt) - Mista scompartimenti (corridoio laterale ndt)

This coach was available in 4 different liveries, of which, only the Blood and Custard version was vaguely correct. The Great Western, and LMS versions of course being totally erroneous as these coaches were not made until BR days. The Green one has a yellow line running down the centre which should not be there.

Codesta carrozza era disponibile in 4 livree diverse, della quale solo la versione Sangue e Budino Vanilla era vagamente corretta. Le versioni Great Western e LMS sono naturalmente totalmente sbagliate dato che queste carrozze non furono costruite fino ai giorni BR. La verde has una striscia longitudinale gialla lungo il centro che non ci dovrebbe essere.

BR Mark One - Restaurant Buffet

As with the CK, the Restaurant coach was available in 4 different liveries. This time only the Blue and Grey version was correct. Again the Great Western, and LMS versions are erroneous. The Green one says Restaurant Car, but the only green Mark One coaches on British Railways were Buffets.

Come con la CK, la carrozza ristorante era disponibile in 4 diverse livree. In questo caso solamente la Blu e Grigio era corretta. Di nuovo le versioni Great Western e LMS sono sbagliate. La versione verde dice Carrozza Ristorante, ma le uniche carrozze ristoro Mark One verdi presso British Railways erano Buffet.

BR Mark One - Brake Second Corridor

This version of the Mark One coach was available in the same liveries as the Composite Corridor. The same comments about authenticity apply.

Questa versione della carrozza Mark 1 era disponibile nelle stesse livree come per la Corridoio Mista. Valgono gli stessi commenti sull'autenticità.

BR Mark Two - First Corridor

The Mark Twos are the easiest to find HO coaches, they were available in sets, and individually boxed. The First Corridor was only ever produced in one livery and number.

Le Mark 2 sono le più facili da trovare delle carrozze HO, erano disponibili in impianti e imballate individualmente. La Prima con Corridoio fù sempre prodotta in una sola livrea con stesso numero.

BR Mark Two - Second Open

The Second Open was a completely different model to the FK, it has 8 windows per side, whereas the FK has 7. Again, it was only produced in one livery and number.

La seconda a corridoio centrale era un modello completamente diverso dalla Prima. Ha 8 finestre per lato, mentre la FK ne ha 7. Di nuovo fù prodotta in una sola livrea e numero.

The Brake Composite was a different moulding again. It was still only produced with one livery and number.

Continental Pullman
Pullmann Continentale

The Pullman coaches are re-liveries of continental models, and are not very authentic. They were made in 2 main liveries, Pullman Brown and Cream, and BR Blue and Grey. A version of the Golden Arrow Pullman in Green and Grey has been discovered. There were earlier versions of this coach with non smooth sides.

Le carrozze Pullmann sono ricolorazioni di modelli continentali e non sono molto autentiche. Erano prodotte in 2 livree principali, marrone Pullman e crema e blu e grigio BR. Una versione del Pullman Golden Arrow (Flece d'Or ndt) in verde e grigio è stata scoperta. C'erano versioni precedenti di questa carrozza con lati non lisci.

This model has an operating mail pickup mechanism, but is nothing like any British prototype.

Questo modello ha un meccanismo funzionante per prelevare la posta, ma non è assolutamente come qualunque originale Britannico.

Continental Open Coach

These models are again totally un-authentic. They were only available in sets with the small tank engine, and came in many colours. Examples known are: Southern Green, Great Western Chocolate and Cream, LMS Blood and Custard, LMS Lined Red, BR Blue and Grey.

Di nuovo questi modelli sono completamente fasulli. Erano disponibili solo in impianti con il piccolo locotender, ed c'erano in molte colorazioni. Esempi noti sono: verde Southern, cioccolato e panna Great Western, sangue e budino vaniglia LMS, rosso LMS con filetti, blu e grigio BR.
