4 Wheel Tank Wagon

This wagon is not actually that different from British prototype wagons, and a conversion is possible. The BP and ICI wagons were labelled as British in the Lima catalogue. The Esso and Gulf were labelled as Italian or German but were widely sold in Britain. Earlier versions of these tanks had wide black vertical stripes.

Questo vagone non è veramente molto diverso da vagoni prototipo Britannnico ed una conversione è possibile. I vagoni BP e ICI erano indicati come Britannici nel catalogo Lima. Quelli Esso e Gulf erano indicati come Italiani o Tedeschi ma erano molto venduti in Gran Bretagna. Le prime versioni di questi carri cisterna avevano grosse strisce verticali nere.

Twin Tank Cement Wagon

Again close to a British prototype, the Cement wagon was produced in two liveries, but only one at a time, and the catalogue number was re-used.

Di nuovo simile ad un prototipo Britannico, il carro per cemento fù prodotto in due livree, ma solo una per volta, ed il numero di catalogo fù riutilizzato.

Beer Wagon

This wagon is absolutely nothing like and British wagon, even the objects described as casks are nothing like real English beer casks.

Questo non è assolutamente niente di simile ad un vagone Britannico, anche gli oggetti descritti come barili non sono come veri barili Inglesi di birra.

Container Wagon

These 4 wheel container wagons were available with BR Freightliner 40' container or LHB & Scotch Beef 20' containers. The latter was marked as German in the catalogue, but it does say "For Sainsbury's" on it.

Questi carri porta container a 2 assi erano disponibili con container da 40 piedi BR Freightliner o containers da 20 piedi LHB & Scotch Beef. L'ultimo era marcato come Tedesco nel catalogo, ma dice "per Sainsbury's" su di esso.

Only sold in sets, usually with the small diesel shunter.

Available in 5 liveries for 3 different catalogue numbers. The green "Traffic Services Ltd" tanker was produced from 1973 to 1975, when it was replaced by the blue "Milk" tanker.

4 Wheel Refrigerator Van

Only the Schweppes version of this van was marked as British, however the Coca Cola version was widely sold and came in British sets. Some of the "Set Only" versions of these vans were one piece frame and body mouldings, so the frames were white or brown. Other versions of this van include German 3103 InterFrigo, and Danish 3109 Carlsberg.

Solamente la versione Schweppes di questo carro era marcata come Britannica, però la versione Coca Cola era largamente venduta e fornita in impianti Britannici. Alcune delle versioni "Solo Impianti" erano stampi monoblocco della cassa e telaio, così i telai erano bianchi o marrone. 4 Wheel Ferry Van

This type of van was actually seen quite often on British tracks. One version of this van was sold as a "Converter", so it had a continental coupling one end and Triang-Hornby type the other. There was another version of this van produced in 1977 (and so not in the HO era) lettered NE.

Questo tipo di carro coperto era visto assai spesso sui binari Britannici. Una versione era venduta come un "Convertitore", così aveva gancio continentale da un lato ed il tipo Triang-Hornby dall'altro. C'era un'altra versione di questo carro prodotto nel 1977 (così non nell'epoca HO) con scritte NE.

Steel Mineral Wagon

This model was produced in 2 liveries in the standard range. Both liveries were also seen on "Set Only" items with one piece body and dumb buffers.

Questo modello fù prodotto in 2 livree nella gamma standard. Entrambe livree furono viste su articoli per "impianti soltanto" con cassa in un pezzo solo e respingenti monoblocco.

Bogie Refrigerator Van

This large van was sold in two liveries for the British market, BRT Rail Freight, and Traffic Services Ltd, both with the same catalogue number. Other versions versions for the European markets were Swiss 3191 InterFrigo, and Italian 3193 Martini.

Questo grosso carro fù venduto in due livree per il mercato Britannico, BRT Rail Freight e Traffic Services Ltd, entrambi con lo stesso numero di catalogo. Altre versioni per mercati Europei furono 3191 Svizzero InterFrigo ed 3193 Italiano Martini.

Car Transporter
Trasporto auto

This model has been in the Lima range through the whole HO and OO era, although the cars changed sometime during the 1980s. Both models had the same wagon numbers, which were unchanged even into the 1990s. There was also a Set Only small sized Transporter, see the Sets section on the Odds page.

Questo modello è stato nella gamma Lima attraverso le intere epoche HO e OO, benché le autovetture furono cambiate a qualche punto degli anni 80. Entrambi modelli avevano gli stessi numeri di servizio, rimasti invariati addirittura fino agli anni 90.
