Wagoni Britannici HO Lima- Parte 1

There were only four wagon types specifically made for Britain, one Open, one Van, and two styles of Brake Van. Other wagons were re-liveries of continental prototypes. This page deals with just the British prototype wagons. See Wagons 2 for the re-liveries.

7 Plank 12 Ton Opens

This typical British open mineral wagon was produced in 5 different liveries, although I doubt if any of them are actually authentic. It was also later produced in Irish and Australian colour schemes. Note the Kendal wagon is found with both white and black highlighting to to red letters.

Questo tipico carro aperto Britannico da minerale fù prodotto in 5 diverse livree, benchè dubito che qualunqua di queste siano veramente autentiche. Fù prodotto in seguito anche in schemi di colori Irlandesi ed Australiani. Notare che il carro Kendall si trova con evidenziazione delle lettere rosse sia in bianco che in nero.

The short wheelbase 4 wheel van was produced in 6 different liveries, again all are of dubious authenticity. The van itself seems to be based on the BR standard van diagram 1/208.

Il carro coperto a 2 assi a passo corto fù prodotto in 6 diverse livree, di nuovo tutte di autenticità  dubbiosa. La cassa stessa sembra essere basata sul carro coperto diagramma 1/208.

BR Standard 20 Ton Brake Vans

This model is based on the LNER / BR  design, and was produced in 2 liveries. The chassis is taken from the Toad brake van, and in consequence is not strictly accurate.

Questo modello fù basato su un disegno LNER/BR e fù prodotto in 2 livree. Il telaio è preso dal carro di coda "Rospo", e di conseguenza non è strettamente fedele (pedane laterali di salita ndt).

This Great Western design uses the same chassis as the LNER / BR model. It was actually produced before the BR Brake Van.
